Power Rangers Just got cool again...

Power Rangers

Power Rangers is one of those TV franchises that has been done to death and literally will not die a decent death as the powers that be in television keep churning them out. We all loved the original Power Rangers and maybe some of the spin-offs that came after, however they long since stopped being thought of as cool.

But one music video director; Joseph Khan with one short, just brought them to the forefront of everyones minds with a 14 minute master piece that is anything but family friendly.

"The irony here is that I wouldn't even want to make "Power Rangers: The Movie' for real. Like if I had to make a 'Power Rangers' movie, this is it. It's 14 minutes long and it's violent and this is what I have in me. If they offered me the 200 million version, the PG-13 version, I literally wouldn't do it. It's just not interesting to me."

With James Van der beek (yes Dawson still acts) playing the bad guy and Katie Sackoff the female lead this was brilliant to watch.

It's dark, it's gritty and oh so good.

Khan released it on both YouTube and Vimeo however Vimeo took it down even after making it a staff pick which was not only stupid but caused the views of it on YouTube to go up even more.

The short speaks for itself so I'll let you watch and decide but I highly doubt there's anyone who would hate it.
