Flatpack Film Festival 2015

I think it's fair to say that Flatpack was a weird & wonderful ride full of twists and turns. The fact that it was all over Birmingham meant that if you went to multiple events as I did you got to explore a lot of what Birmingham had to offer. Like me you probably also found yourself getting fitter while trying to run from event to event (unless you drove). To make things easier on all 5 of my readers (I'm sure there's more...probably) I thought I'd do a roundup of the posts and highlight my favourite 3 events. The Odyssey

The majority of my Saturday was spent at MCM comic con however I made time for 3 events at Flatpack and I'm glad I did as they were all pretty special with the last one being something I'm incredibly glad that I didn't miss. The 3 events that I made were: The Magic Cinema LOLGBT Shorts The Paper Cinema's Odyssey As they were pretty much last minute in my schedule I was literally sprinting in between the events to make them in time. I only caught the second half of The Magic Cinema which was an open-reel DIY film event that showcased any film submitted as long as it was 10 minutes or less and the film-maker (or a friend) came to introduce it.
